Android: click on notification should not ask a coach+ question
Sometimes clicking the notifications sends a coach+ question immediately. But I don't want to waste a question asking what I should eat! When a notification mentions the next workout I would expect clicking it to show me the workout details.
If it goes to the coach+ page, at least it should not send the question and charge for it immediately.

Thanks Joe, that's useful, and I can see why it's annoying to spend a message on a question you never chose to ask. I'm looking into how the Android app handles taps on these notifications, including whether a notification about your next workout should simply open that workout. I'll update this post once I know more.

Thanks. If it helps, the particular notification that did this was a reminder about a workout tomorrow, with “Fuel well tonight and aim for an early bedtime”. The generated question was “what should I eat tonight and tomorrow morning before <workout>?”.
I think that some post-workout notifications have gone to the activity page (good) and some have sent this coach+ question (annoying) but to be honest I don’t exactly remember which.

Thanks Joe, that pins it down. That reminder carries a ready-made question for Coach+, and on Android tapping it sends the question straight away instead of putting it in the message box for you to decide. That's not how it's meant to work, and it's the part I'm looking at. Post-workout notifications don't carry a question, so those open the activity as they should.

This is fixed, Joe. Tapping a coaching notification now opens what it's about instead of sending a question. The reminder before tomorrow's workout opens that workout, a race countdown opens the race, and plan-related ones open your training plan. No Coach+ message is spent. You need the latest Android app from the Play Store; the iPhone app has the same change.
