For outdoor training, include "lap until button press"

In the past my Garmin showed an additional step called “Lap until button press” (I may mis remember the exact quote. The purpose was to delay the start of the interval until it was safe to do so. The next interval would start when the rider pressed the lap button.

Thanks for posting this, and sorry it sat without a reply. It's a clear case: a warm-up or recovery step you end yourself with the lap button, so the next interval starts when the road or your sensor is ready, not when a timer runs out. Several of you have asked for it, and it's on my list. I'll build it as a real option on a step, so both the plan and Coach+ can use it. One thing I'll check while building it is how each watch and bike computer brand handles it, since not all of them support lap-press steps in the same way. I'll update this post when it's live.
